Synthesia Technology Europe, with 60 years’ experience in PU Systems, Polyester Polyols and Specialties, is following with its corporate strategy towards Circularity and Carbon Footprint reduction. As part of this mission, Synthesia is proud to announce the achievement of the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification, ISCC Plus, for its Polyester Polyols production at the Castellbisbal site.
This milestone represents another significant advancement after with implementing LCA’s capability in Polyester Polyols and obtaining in 2024 externally verified Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) for 57 Polyester Polyols.
By integrating certified bio, bio-circular, and circular raw materials into its Polyester Polyols, Synthesia is contributing to the Decarbonization across diverse PU markets, including RHM, CASE, Flexible, Footwear, and Rigid applications.
In addition, by providing transparent Sustainability data, we are fostering closer collaboration with our customers and suppliers in mitigating CO2 emissions along the entire value chain.
The ISCC Plus certification highlights the Synthesia’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, giving continuity to the circular and environmentally responsible projects based on Recycled and Renewable raw materials.
